HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I'm just looking for a place to stay for a few days. After I find a place of my own, perhaps I will have a place for others to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None through this site. Only the old-fashioned kind at the homes of friends and family. So this is new for me.

Beethoven, Mahler, Strauss, Vampire Weekend, Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, The National, The Decemberists, pretty much anything on WXPN (Philly non-profit radio station - check it out!)

I read widely. Recently I've read literature by Joshua Ferris, Karen Russell, and Dave Eggers. Recent non-fiction included Titan (bio of John D Rockefeller, Sr), Nonzero, Give and Take, and American Prometheus (bio of J Robert Oppenheimer)

Movies - since I dumped Netflix a while ago, I haven't watched much. Most recently some documentaries - Tiny (about tiny houses) and Queen of Versailles (a story of riches to rags). Otherwise, I enjoy indie films, documentaries, dramas, and occasionally a comedy.
