Overview
About Me
Brazilian by birth, Dutch by heritage, found home in Belgium. Along the way, I’ve picked up stories (and a fair share of passport stamps), from volunteering in Mexico and Israel, to studying in Canada, and working across Mozambique, Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland.
I thrive on good conversation, live for unplanned adventures, and find peace in watching planes disappear into the clouds. I’ve explored 51 countries so far, and the more I see of the world, the more I realise how much there is left to learn.
I love hiking, surfing, getting lost in unfamiliar places, photograph and reading . Also a bit obsessed with aviation.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m not great at picking favourites, but I’m into classical music, indie, folk, and rock.
I really enjoy cinema; Interstellar is probably my favourite film, though horror movies are definitely my guilty pleasure.
When it comes to books, choosing one feels impossible. But maybe I can share some of my favourite authors and titles:
Portuguese: Fernando Pessoa, Mia Couto and Jorge Amado
English: The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald
Spanish: Cien años de soledad - Gabriel García Márquez
Hebrew: מצרפי המקרים - Yoav Blum
French: Les Misérables - Victor Hugo
Italian: Pinocchio - Carlo Collodi
Dutch: Boekenaanbevelingen?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sunrise at the Taj Mahal was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love studying and teaching languages — to me, it’s one of the most amazing things about being human. Every Saturday morning, I teach Portuguese. I’m fascinated by language structure, etymology, cultural context, phonetics, accents... all of it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m naturally curious and love collecting random facts. Respect and kindness mean a lot to me. I’m excited to share my travel stories, learn lessons with the folks here, and hear about your journeys too.
