ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Paris, France, then after an idyllic French childhood, left for America, and swept through Los Angeles, Austin, Dallas, and most recently, New York. I am in love with this city. The energy is electric and the people are glorious. Eventually, I made my way out of America, and spent an extended amount of time in Barcelona and Delhi, both of which I love for very different reasons. In fact, I love the whole wide world we live in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting people. While I don't always have a couch because I am location independent, I have hosted dozens upon dozens of friends and strangers through word of mouth. Some of the most magical experiences of my life have been spent hosting or being hosted by a stranger. The connection of two curious souls is one of the most wonderful things in life, and I'm grateful for CS for making it happen for so many people in so many places.

Interests

I wake up every morning happy to spend my day doing exactly what I want. This involves a combination of writing, wandering drinking tea, taking photographs, connecting with people, and going off on some spontaneous adventure. When I'm in a new city or country, one of my favorite things to do is to get lost.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Montserrat in Spain in the middle of a sudden rainstorm, alone, close to death but victorious. Dancing at the summit of Mount Taurus while the sun rose to its full glory. Looking down at the world from the top of the Great Wall of China. Though I have an incredible fear of heights, I seem to find the most terrifying and tremendous pleasure in them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to tune into someone's Gift (to give in the world) and to help them create an enchanting life around the giving of it. I love to mentor and guide on creating a "slow business" (akin to 'slow food' and 'slow travel') that aligns with their Gift and vision of the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I take really beautiful photos and am happy to do so of your home, or yourself, or your area. (I prefer using my iPhone X as I don't often take my full camera set-up when I travel anymore.) And if there are no use for photos, I am happy to explore with you more deeply into your purpose and gifts in the world, if this has been a question in your heart.
