About Me
Summer 2025:
Starting with a road-trip on the East Coast of the US with my brothers and cousins, afterwards I don't have any plans yet, but many ideas in my mind of projects or trips, we'll see with the flow!
Update May-June 2025:
After visiting Corfu island and Athens with my family, I am staying one more month to explore some Greek Islands! Then I am heading to the mountains of the Balkans for a 10 days trek. Finally, I will come back to Belgium with an Interrail pass, only riding trains and stopping to cities on the way to visit.
September 2023:
New couchsurfer but I love the concept of meeting local people while traveling. For me it is the best way to discover the culture of the country.
After my 5 years of computer engineering studies, I want to live my dream of traveling in Canada. So, I am currently in Canada for one year with a working holiday visa. Going all the way from East to West!
I am on BeWelcome too, I have my first host review there: https://www.bewelcome.org/members/L-ADevos

Music, Movies, and Books
Like various music style but I am a fan of french rap and electro music.
Listening to podcasts and audio books in English to improve it. And when I was younger I used to read a lot of comics.
I like to watch scifi movies or TV shows (like Stranger things, Black Miror)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I remember a traveling scout camp when we woke up alone with the sunrise on a beautiful beach in Croatia! So lucky to be there and nature is amazing. (I have done tons of overnights/bivouac since then I love it)
My year in Canada gave me some pretty crazy stories, like:
- Getting evacuated from a wildfire in the backcountry by helicopter
- Driving the entire Trans-Canada Highway from east to west (~8000km) — including 3500km on a 3-days ride share with a Turkish driver who wasn't speaking any English or French
On my first night starting my solo backpacking trip in Santorini, Greece, I was looking to pitch my tent on a rooftop for the view, but I ended up being offered hospitality at a monastery and stayed there for a week.
