Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been dreaming about a trip abroad forever, but the crazy high costs have always turned me away. I'm hoping that with Couch Surfing I can cut costs while also meeting locals. This CS can help me turn from a tourist into a traveler.

Interests

Animals. My first love is animals. Mostly cats and dogs, but I enjoy wildlife and some farm animals as well.

Books and stories. I'm a history geek, so I like to read up on the history and myths of a place before I visit.

I pretty much can only teach dog training? I can give a tiny bit of insight into museum indexing....

I'd love to learn a few phrases in the language of where ever I am, as well as the local myths. Maybe a local knitting pattern or two.

What I Can Share with Hosts

An enthusiastic ear for any local folk history or myths they have to tell, along with happily shared folk stories from my neck of the woods.

Dog and cat care! I can give walks and empty litter boxes like a pro (because I am. A professional. People pay me to do this kind of stuff). Or any training advice you'd like free of charge.
