ABOUT ME

Sometimes I'm late in spite of my greatest efforts to be prompt. I think waking up to an alarm is an unfortunate way to live. Those two things are only vaguely related; I can be late at 7PM, too.

Mountain sports, walking for absurdly long distances, bikes.

Bikes for distance. Bikes in heels with a bottle of Stone Porter at 3AM. Bikes for my morning commute. Bikes for trails. Freak bikes. Vintage 3spd bikes with the Sturmey Archer internal hub.

Costume-y goth nights. Figure drawing with the girls. Moped rallies. Broken motorcycles. Eating with vegans and vegetarians and other people that have a heightened awareness of what they put into their body. (me= omnivore)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hmmm... most of these things would involve gear of some outdoorsy nature... like bikes, skis or backpacking stuff. I walked from Georgia to Maine in 2009 on the Appalachian Trail and spent 5 weeks in Iceland studying geology. I just crocheted my grandmother this cute cape thing with little arm holes so she can T. Rex her forearms though even though she has pretty bad arthritis in her shoulder.
