ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Stephen. I just moved to back to Amsterdam with my fiance, planning on moving to Cali this year :)

I like to try new things out, whenever I get the opportunity. Couchsurfing has been great in this regard, and I've done a lot of things I might never do on my own, such as shooting the hooch in Atlanta ( which is floating down a river for hours on a tube)and looking for gators in Savannah(one of my favourite places).
I consider myself to be pretty flexible and easy going. I love checking out live music, anything from rock to hip-hop, going to museums, and finding oddities. I'm always up for an adventure.

I can't host anyone, but I have shown some surfers around Amsterdam and participated in a couple of CS events there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Hangover, Silence of the Lambs, anything really scary or funny. As for books, my favourite author is Stephen King, but I will read anything with a good story. Favourites of mine include Needful Things and The Shining.

Bands/musicians I like include : Tool, The Smiths, The Smashing Pumpkins, Waka Flocka Flame, Gucci Mane, Grendel, Morrissey, Combichrist, NIN, Rammstein, Chris Isaak, A Perfect Circle, Billy Corgan, VNV Nation.

I generally like alternative 80's, reggaeton,industrial,rock,metal and hip hop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met the Guiness world record holder for the most piercings (4,000), in Edinburgh. Really nice lady!

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak Dutch at a decent level, i could teach you some fun sayings.
I could also show you how to make latte art, from my experience as a barista.
