ABOUT ME

I'm Lindsay, I grew up with music as a HUGE part of my life and I play several instruments and sing, but Bass Guitar is really my thing. I'm a problem solver, and a firm believer that where there's a will there's a way. I grew up in Berlin and Conway NH and I'm a big fan of being outdoors. I love mountain biking, walking everywhere I can, exploring, trying my luck with skiing and snowboarding (neither of which I'm particularly skilled at), camping, and all sorts of other things. I have a great sense of humor, love to laugh, and do so incredibly often. I'm a really happy person and I love to have fun. Partying is a blast and I certainly enjoy it, but I can have just as much fun doing other things instead. I totally dig experiencing new things, and enjoying some rad adventures. If I want something, I make it happen, and right now all I want is to just get up and just keep going until I'm so old and frail my legs won't carry me anymore =]

PHILOSOPHY

Life is for living, so get out there and live it.

I feel life should be about experiencing the world, making mistakes and growing from it, learning, teaching, leaving a positive mark on the lives of others, taking what you have to offer, and sharing it.

Life's a roller coaster that you only get to ride once, so no matter the ups, downs, twists, or turns, throw your hands in the air and enjoy it.

Regret is a waste of time and energy. Choose to learn from your experiences and use what you've learned to better yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Due to my current living situation (which is always subject to change) I'm unable to provide a couch for people to crash on, but I'm totally game for providing good company and helping to find sweet stuff to do if you find yourself in my neck of the woods. I'm new to CS and am still learning about it, but I fully intend to start surfing in 2010!

I won't lie I don't read much....or ever for that matter.

I dig all sorts of music, although I'll admit I don't tend to favor country, blue grass, rap, or super heavy scream-o metal where you can't understand a single word the singer's saying and it just feels like your stereo is yelling at you and throwing a temper tantrum with a bunch of power chords in the background. Classical is alright but I have to be in the mood for it, which is rare. I'm very big into classic rock, and just about anything with a sick bass line. Sometimes I enjoy hip hop and club music just because it can be really fun to dance to.

For movies I love comedy and horror. I do NOT dig chick flicks. Action and adventure are cool but don't tend to hold my attention quite as well as a good comedy or something scary.
