I am a german student of anthropology living in São Paulo, Brazil since 2015. I came to Brazil to do research for my master thesis and ended up staying ;) Except for the horrific political situation in Brazil, i'm loving it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel but I never was a big fan of staying in hotels or hostels, because you stay in a sort of tourism bubble. I like to get to know new places in another way. Not going straight from one tourist attraction to another, but doing stuff, that locals actually do. So it's nice to get some advices and recomendations about what do do, where to get a good coffee or beer or a delicious meal.
