I'm from Vietnam and have been in the United States for almost 7 years for my higher education (master's and doctoral programs).

Straightforward and easy-going is what other people have often talked about me.
I like traveling and making friends. I have been to 5 other countries than Vietnam and the U.S. I also have visited 16 states of the U.S. and plan to visit more before I leave.

I've been travelling a lot for conferences as well as for pleasure. When I travel, I want to meet local people and learn about local culture and local food, so Couchsurfing seems to be a good option.

On the other hand, I have a house in Lansing, MI and I would like to host people who also loves travelling like me and are willing to share their own culture as well as to learn a new one.
