ABOUT ME

I just left my job, car, cat, and family in Florida to move to DC. Now I'm hanging out, job hunting, and exploring my new city.
Update: I've now lived in DC for 3 years and reside in a fixer upper row house in northeast with my boyfriend. I work at an O&P association in Alexandria and don't get to travel nearly enough anymore.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted, surfed, partied, tour-guided (is that a word?). Its all been a good time!

I read lots of books so this changes constantly.

My music tastes are all over the place, but mostly alternative rock, 60's jazz and pop, a little dance music and mellow stuff- think Cake, Jack Johnson, Teagan and Sara, Ingrid Michaelson, Modest Mouse, the Beatles, Kings of Leon, Bob Dylan, etc.

I was in Germany during the World Cup which was probably the most fun I have ever had. I just don't think anything beats that!
