HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS in May 2008 and have already hosted quite a few people, from 3 different continents! I am enjoying meeting friendly fun people and look forward to doing some surfing too when I get time to travel again.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a voracious reader, everything from travel books to Victorian literature and in between! I love movies too, I tend to prefer independent films over Hollywood blockbusters. I love music - folk, indie, dance, rock, classical, music from around the world...I also sing in a band.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in Cyprus last October, I'd always wanted to do it but got a bit panicky when I was deep in the water; the instructor slowly took me and my friend back to the surface and calmed me down, and then we went under again...and a shoal of fish came to us and nibbled and kissed at my fingers to welcome me to the sea, it was awesome!

I can teach vegetarian cooking and how to eat well on a tight budget. I love languages so if you speak anything other than English I would love to learn anything you can teach me!
