ABOUT ME

I am a curious human looking to make friends in all sorts of situations and environments. My dream has always been to travel the world and to see and experience all it has to offer while learning languages all the way. Now that I have graduated university I hope to begin a long quest to learn the major languages of the world and to teach English. I am shy at first glance, but get me talking about something I love and I won't stop. I am curious, opinionated, open-minded and have a huge heart that I share with everyone I meet. I want to be your friend! You just have to get me talking. :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first got really involved in Couchsurfing when I lived in Chile during college. I stayed with some people in a couple different places in South America and had some truly awesome experiences. Since then, I've used it mostly to find things to do in new cities or meetup a local for a drink or some sightseeing. Couchsurfing is a cool community and I've really enjoyed all of the people I've met so far.

CouchSurfing is such a worthwhile and amazing network. I have been so fortunate to meet and stay with beautiful people and hope to continue doing so.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the most amazing things I've done was waking up at 2 o'clock in the morning to wait in line at the bottom entrance to Machu Picchu. I am not in the best of shape but I pushed through the most intense climb of my life (1,700 STEEP steps). And after arriving at the actual park around 6 or so in the morning, I then climbed up Wayna Picchu (a mountain at the back of the park), legs barely able to keep me up. But sitting on a boulder at the very top of Wayna Picchu and looking down at the ruins and the valleys around...I have never felt so proud and so full of energy ever before in my lifetime. I will NEVER forget conquering that mountain.

I play a little bit of guitar and love to bake (cookies are my specialty). I am a jack of all trades kind of girl, meaning I know a little about a lot and a lot about a little. I'm thirsty for knowledge and am always ready to listen.
