I’m a California Native and spent the past three years in Palomino, Colombia—at the base of the sacred Sierra Nevada mountain range on the Caribbean Sea. In 2010, I left the US and moved to Bogota, Colombia, where I lived for the next four years. In 2014, I took a leap of faith and moved back to the US for a new job...I hated it and was fired within six months, which I still count as one of the greatest gifts of my life. Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couchsurfing years ago when I was looking for a room to rent in Bogota...I have many friends who love this community and am looking forward to connecting with a community of people who see past the traditional tit-for-tat ways of relating and interacting, and are excited about forging a new way of connecting, supporting each other and experiencing the world.
