HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use Couch Surfing as a general "connection station." If I am new to an area, visiting, or passing thorough I often prefer couch surfing to meet others. I live in a destination ski town and enjoy hosting when I can. CS is like instant community with people with a common thread. What a great way to travel, stay for free, and maybe even make life long friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend Jen and I stayed with Julia in Bozeman, MT.
As soon as we arrived we began to discover many synchronicities. The best sync' was that we had both recently visited the same hot-springs, like 2 weeks apart. As we were talking about how awesome they are Jen asked Julia, "do we have your sarong?" Jen had picked up an old sun-bleached sarong that was on a rock off the trail near the springs. I was Julia's! We couldn't believe it! It was returned. This was the best.
