About Me

Currently on a trip touring with friends in Italy and left solo for a few days. Former backpacker that cirrently works as IT (Database support) and into music - classic rock, alternative rock, jazz both as vocal and guitar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Used couchsurfing during my travels in Australia and Vietnam. I was at first sceptical over the whole conception behind it, as sharing personal space could be tricky for the host or living at stranger's home could be tricky from the guest side. However, I got positively surprised by the warm welcome by the hosts I visited and the experience which I had back in my backpacking days. Now it is my turn to return the favour to fellow backpackers, and I am enthusiastic to devote some time of my life for this with the idea to get to know people from different cultures and bonding with them on a common moral ground. Every common understanding that I build with people and the empathy shared makes me more believing in people in general being good to one another.
