ABOUT ME

I live on the amazing Gold Coast, in Queensland Australia.
I work with developing athletes to improve not only their skill sets, strength and conditioning but also their leadership and role model skills.
I have a second job as an Event Co-Ordinator for a large media company, so I get to plan and run some of the most fun events going around!
I play all kinds of sports and have grown up loving the beach, beer and simple times with the mates.
Going out for a few quiet drinks and not noticing that it is suddenly 2am and you are surrounded by new friends is up there with my idea of a perfect evening.
I reckon I'm pretty laid back, nothing really stresses me too much. I love meeting people from all over the place and just seeing what they have to say. Nothing better than a different perspective on what we take for granted.
I have been lucky to travel pretty well for a 25yr old, but I have really fallen in love with exploring the USA. I have worked at a summer camp, bought a car and spent 4 months driving across the country and last year got to experience US college life for a semester in upstate NY.
And now I'm back again for another adventure!

PHILOSOPHY

I wrote a letter to myself some years ago that was recently delivered to me. Of all of the three pages I wrote, one line sticks with me...'If you dont like something in your life, change it'. Wise words.
Beyond that, my life goal is to travel to one country for every year I'm alive, and so far I'm on track!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to be able to at least show some new comers to the wonder that is the Gold Coast with a beach, shopping or pub/club tour. If I can I will put up a couch for anyone who will take it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have certainly crashed my fair share of couches in my time, but relatively new to CS. Had some amazing experience in Canada a few years back, with hosts being beyond gracious and awesome fun!

Interests

A good time. How that comes about I dont really mind. A trip to the local markets, a day playing Xbox with the mates or heading to the other side of the world just because I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learnt to snowboard in the Swiss Alps. While learning to snowboard itself is not that glamorous, the location was effing incredible.
