ABOUT ME

Where to begin eh. Basically I'm a super easy going and relaxed individual filled with passion, drive and adventure. I like to be sarcastic and get along with just about everyone I meet. I want to experience all that life has to offer and I am always looking forward to my next adventure.

Probably the most unique thing about me is...I have an indoor pet pig. Coolest little guy EVER. Sadly he's in Ontario and not with me while I study atm.

I love to be different...go against the grain. I love new challenges, new places and new faces. Basically, and way I can spice up life, I am on it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even if I'm not surfing (which I have become addicted to!), I try to meet up with couch surfers every place that I go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through couch surfing I have been able to do and see things that I never would have imagined doing by simply staying in hostels. It has completely reformed the way that I travel. It challenges me to step outside the box, learn new things and meet some incredible people.

This year would not have been the same if I didn't give couchsurfing a try. I cannot say enough about it and am thankful for each and every experience it's provided.

- River sledging in New Zealand
- "Couch sailing" in the Sydney Harbour
- Back-country snowboarding in Norway
- Volunteering at a church in the Dominican Republic and living with a local family
- Being invited into strangers homes for Hari Raya celebrations in Brunei
- Making friends with the bearded pigs in Malaysia
- Speeding across gravel black sand beaches in Iceland
- Driving across both Canada and the USA coast to coast

If you want to know about....pigs....yeah I'm ALL over that one. But seriously....I am a book of knowledge on them ;)
