ABOUT ME

I am 37 loving life, my main job is a bit of a bore 9 to 5 offce job, but my studies are fun, youth work which aids me in meeting/helping people. I am only doing my main job till i can afford to leave, then hopefully would have done my degree in youth work then want to go off travelling, working in some kind of youth work background. not sure where i want to go, anywhere and everywhere, does not have to be hot just somewhere I've not been before, I love meeting people, trying foods from different countries, getting to know cultures, I soak it up, it drives me and makes me smile.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat everyone with honesty, respect and love. Just be happy, when feeling low there is always someone worse off than you, so take a moment to remember this and be grateful of where you are. Make the most of your life & everyone else around you, you don't know how long it will last, treat everyday as though it were your last. keep on smiling, this will make others smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have already hosted a young couple from Portugal, it was great, they helped cook a meal for my housemates, we all went out in town and got to see the sights of Bristol. would def do it again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not had one yet but hoping to have one this year as i would like to go somewhere in Europe to do some hostel or homeless work there.

Interests

I have just tried surfing and it is amazing, tiring but so worth the buzz!! i love kiting, harnessing your self to a huge kite and letting it take you off into the sky, massive buzz, I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, going gigs, festivals of all kinds, cooking is a massive love of mine especially for others. travelling when i can, at the mo can only afford short trips but that is still all good, its a big world out there :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled S. E. Asia 2003 for just over a yr, the best thing I have done in my life so far! So many experiences, met so many beautiful people, tried some amazing foods and made lots of close friends. All I want to do now is travel, everywhere and anywhere!!
