ABOUT ME

I am a 26 year old professional dancer who has spent my entire life in the balletsaal and traveling when the possibility has come up.I love my work and art form and have a passion for all things artistic. My cat Charlie Chaplin and I live in Germany for now and I am hopefully getting my "green card" in 2 years. I want to live in Europe and make my life over here.Maybe somewhere in Sweden eventually where there is an abundance of nature.I am a happy hippi and need to have nature somewhere close by or I start to go even crazier then normal. Not pretty. I have a passion for travel, like everyone on couchsurfing and love to have interesting people from different countries in my home.I speak German as well as English and love trying to learn new languages.When I am not performing or rehearsing I out with friends or in school to perfect my German( the der, die , das is a real bitch).

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be as kind as possible, To treat everyone with an open mind and understanding that they are not always then same as me.I try to use my brain as much as possible and share what I learn and learn from others. I also try to just ride the wave instead of to try changing its course.Life is really a huge puzzle and every time I think I have it down it fucks me up so I stop trying to figure it out and just live.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I am a new member I would like to start, as soon as it is possible to host people. I am of course interested in heading off to other cities in my free time. At the moment I am on vacation and I start work in Sept. After the first premier is everything a bit quite for me so I would like to start hosting then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had one yet. I have just met some very cool people in Barcelona who introduced me to the community. I will let you know when I have something interesting to say.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many that it is hard to give a list. I like anything that makes you think and that is done intelligently.Comedy or drama both are great but they have to have be well done.
Music, being a dancer, is so important for me that I can't even begin to explain. I have almost everything under the sun, except for very heavy metal and rap. Sorry I just can't get into it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved across an ocean alone without knowing th language or having any contacts in the country that I was moving to. I would also say that being a professional dancer at the age of 18 wasn't so bad either.
Also, once I saw the full moon rise over the ocean. It was as big as a cathedral and PINK. I was the only one on the beach except for some green peace people picking up trash. I felt as though I could hear the universe talking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook and can most certainly show a trick or two in the kitchen. Also being a dancer I have a good knowledge of the body and what to do for pain and aches and what is good for it and what is not (this does not mean I am a heath freek but I at least could pass on the info).And if anyone ever wanted to learn a bit of ballet I could for sure show the basics.
