ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and hearing and sharing stories of life's adventures. I realise life is short so I'm learning to live in the moment and take life at a slower pace. A happy vegan who enjoys discovering and sharing tasty new vegan dishes. I enjoy spending time amongst nature; I am respectful of and am continually amazed by all the amazing and wonderful creatures in our world. I enjoy plants and gardening and love growing my own food. I like laughing and being silly, smiling and being upbeat. Sometimes much of what happens in our world makes me sad so I like to spread uplifting tales and I'm even happier to listen to them.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short; be honest with yourself; I could be run over by a bus tomorrow; you can always say 'never again'; what's the worst that can happen?; you ALWAYS have a choice; It's my world too! Be the change you want to see in the world. Trust in the Universe and everything you need at that moment in time will be provided for.

Just back from travelling, not able to host at present but hopefully soon.

Travelling near and far, making new friends, learning and speaking different languages, cycling, friends, family, my cat companion, animals, listening and dancing to live music, veganism, cooking and eating tasty food, making the world a happier place to live in, making people smile, plants and gardening, growing food, running, swimming in the (warm) sea :-), art, architecture, boats, bikes, brass bands, learning to play the trumpet, reading, watching films.........

Watching fiery red lava flow from Pacaya at night, listening to the sounds of the jaguars in the forest, and watching the sun rise at Tikal, in Guatemala. Solo cycle touring in Italy.
