My current mission? Nothing less than traveling to the ends of the earth, riding the wind and the crests of the waves, running through open fields, trekking through forests, and hopefully all with cool people with spirit and passion for adventure!

ABOUT ME

Hello all! My name is Joy, and I try to live up to my name as best I can :) I'm a very creative person who loves all things artsy and innovative, also all things adventurous with a dash of dange! I'm quite whimsical and playful, I love dancing, exploring, philosophy and metaphysics, swimming in the ocean and cliff jumping. I'm interested in spirituality, the environment, animals, extreme sports, and meeting new people. I define myself through my writig, and I'm currently working on a novel!

To live each day fully and always reach for the highest and best in myself; to find the good in all things and people, to be open to new experiences, accepting of others, and compassionate to all. Also, to live wildly, with a sense of wonder and passion, searching out the magic that hides in those secret places that not many look in....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only time I've couch surfed was in Barcelona, for two nights with my sister. We stayed with this great guy who had hosted two other surfers from Germany, and we all went out for tapas and sangria! It was quite a lot of fun!

I've seen these glowing orbs of color when I was a child. I used to think they were fairies, but I'm open to other interpretations too...

Teach, Learn, Share

Hm....I could definitely teach some flamenco moves, and maybe even salsa or swing dancing! I also am fairly good about getting dancin to happen, wherever I go :)

I also love sharing my writing and poetry, and I've recently started reading my slam poems in cafes.
