ABOUT ME

I am a photographer, personal development coach and visionary who is very optimistic about life. I am on a constant quest for knowledge, and friendship.
I love meeting new people and consider everyone a friend until proven otherwise. I was an exchange student in the USA at 17 - turned 18 there. I've traveled through much of Europe and worked as a nanny in Denmark and England in my early 20s.
I left Australia on a one-way ticket to London at 19 with a few stops in Asia and Europe on the way, so the travel bug got me. It's a virus I seem unable to cure. I have one son - Hunter, who travels with me as often as I can keep him out of school. He is my best friend and we have lots of fun exploring the world together.
I look forward to meeting you and hearing your stories of adventure, and boring you with mine :0)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted many friends and strangers (who became friends) over the years before this service was a service :0)
I backpacked through Europe in my early 20's and have stayed with many, many amazing people. Some of whom I'm still friends with today (on facebook) over 20 years later. We still communicate regularly and think fondly of our times together. reunions constantly being called for. I've only been to Europe for one 2 year period but I have traveled to America three times now and am taking my son there in December 2018 for his first trip. He is very excited about this and we would love to meet you if you happen upon our path in the journey. We love meeting new people and our lives are all the more richer for the experience.

At the moment I'm reading lots of books on marketing and internet business. I love Netflix as I've always been a binge watcher (years before it became a thing- I would wait until entire series finished, even if it took 8 years before I watched a single season. I had to watch one episode to see if I would like it then I would buy the box set and watch all the seasons in a matter of days or weeks) Netflix has tested my patience as now I have to wait for new seasons to come out. I'm currently loving Outlander, Lucifer, and Arrow. Recently finished Downtown Abbey, The Crown and Big Bang Theory.

I am an entrepreneur and I created a festival for my spiritual community and all proceeds went to victims of emotional trauma and survivors of domestic violence. From a travel perspective I've walked the Great Wall in China, Climbed all the stairs on the Eiffel Tower, got into the Colosseum at night, Swam in a lake inside a volcano, camped in a cave in Tasmania, Skied the Pyrenees Mountains in Andorra, hiked the Grand Canyon, meditated in the Sedona Vortex at Bell Rock, taken a tour through the Tower Bridge in London and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, rafted down rapids twice in Cairns and also on a bamboo raft in Thailand, hitch hiked from Florence to Rome, stayed for 3 nights in a convent in the Vatican City, drove 240km/h on Autobarn in Germany, sat on the Danube at Regensburg and drank monk brewed beer with a freed women from East Germany. Plus so, so much more.....

I have lived in 4 states of Australia and traveled through the others so have a great knowledge of Australia to share. I can also share some of my personal development stuff and health knowledge if they are interested. I'm a photography teacher so could help improve their photography if that's something that they need help with.
