About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To know what it's like to wake up somewhere new and feel completely at home.

ABOUT ME

I'm a filmschool graduate who's actually been working steadily in the field. I'm between jobs right now, and decided to embrace this opportunity to travel. I love having people stay with me, but I'm actually between homes just now.

PHILOSOPHY

Seek and help create happiness. Taste every day. Get your hands dirty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My old apartment in Los Angeles was like a hostel - at one point we had 11 people staying there. I've slept on many a couch or air mattress at friends' places. Just got back from Ireland. Had an AMAZING time staying with Eva, and meeting new people. I couldn't be happier with the experience.

Interests

Art in all its forms. I love to learn what gets people excited. I like hearing people's stories - everyone has one. Or more than one. I like myths and magic and things that are old and deep. Reading, walking, conversation. I love animals. Oh, and movies, which is good since that's my job. And I love food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Princess Bride, Highlander, Eternal Sunshine, American Beauty...
Lots of music - Indie Rock, New Wave, Classical, Zepplin...
Salinger's Nine Stories, Heart of Darkness, Where the Sidewalk Ends

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing ghostly Petroglyphs and Pictographs on sheer cliffs in Utah with lightning flashing - that was pretty amazing. And dancing with old Irish men in Galway! It was awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to create art and help people do the same - sketch, sculpt, make films, etc. I like new foods, cooking, music and dancing. Teach me about your traditions!
