ABOUT ME

I moved around a bit as a kid. I have lived in Houston, Texas; Cleveland, Ohio; Jefferson City, Missouri; Cincinnati, Ohio; and I currently live in Dayton, Ohio. I graduated from Wright State University in June '06 with a Bachelor's degree in nursing. In July 2006 began work as an RN in the Burn Unit at a Hospital in Dayton. I am now trained as both a burn/wound and critical care nurse and am also a unit charge nurse. I work night shift, and I work A LOT, however, when I am not working I am either traveling or planning my next adventure!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to couch surf, but am looking forward to doing some on my up coming trip to eastern Europe. I love meeting new people, and having a free place to stay is always nice :).

Interests

Traveling, reading, watching old movies, photography, being with friends, fine wine and champagne and I also enjoy a good beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:I really love old movies, especially ones with Jimmy Stewart or Carey Grant. Jane Austen moves are a favorite of mine as well. I also LOVE horror movies, especially Zombie movies! I have been told that I have very eclectic taste in music.

Books: Time Windows, The Awakening, Little Women, The Da vinci Code, A Tale of Two Cities, Macbeth (play...whatever), Anne Sexton's poetry, The Democratization of American Christianity, I am a big fan of Jane Austen Novels...and more that I can't think of right now

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All of my travels have been amazing. I have gotten to see some amazing places and meet some awesome people. My travels are some of the memories I hold most dear. A couple of things that I have particularly enjoyed were Snorkeling in Montego Bay, Jamaica, seeing the Grand Canyon, seeing Stonehenge in England, visiting the Colosseum in Rome and going to the top of the Eiffel tower in Paris.
