It's not easy to describe yourself in a few word so i will do my best and give it a go .

i am 25 years old and i live in Toulouse in the South of France . i am optimistic, open minded and adventurous !
i am a social worker , i currently work in a social community center . i like working with all sorts of people from different background and different countries .

People can express themselves in a lot of different way . In addition i do believe it take time and patience to get to know somebody so you can provide him the best social assistance you can . Starting with building with that personn the assistance she needs and not telling her what you believe she does need .

My final year project and dissertation was about young people labeled as" Incasable" in child protective services in France wich i guess you will call "troubled teens " or difficult teenagers " in English . I think there is a huge impact about the way you look at someone and you consider that personn . For example i do think if you labeled a young teenager as a delinquant , then this young personn has the best chances to show herself that exact way to you . Because why should he or her bothered since you already expect him or her to do nothing right . I believe people tend to define themselves from what they hear about themselves .

I am also a feminist and I know that word often afraid people . Like it's a really bad word ... I believe in social and equal treatment regardless the fact you were born as a little girl or as a little boy . I think that gender stereotypes disadvantage both women and men when it comes to the expectations and skills we believe a gender should have or not have . I support the "He for She"campaign . I fight against all kind of discrimination . I volunteer in an association against homophobic violences .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i enjoy learning about different cultures in different ways like talking to open minded people, sharing views about the world... . i am quite talkative but since i am not completely fluent in English i might be less than usual at the moment !

Interests

I am passionate about theatre . I can be kind of clumsy with things . i do fall down a lot but since i have a great sense of humor and i like having a good laught at my expense it does'nt trouble me that much ! i love board games and having a good glass of wine with cheese after work . I like going out with friend and discover new places .
I would like to travel more , and in a few years maybe buy a rolling home
