Hi there 🦔

My name is Laetitia, I am 29 years old, I come from Belgium. After travelling a bit I'm settling and starting my active life in Brussels, city that I adore for it's diversity and alternative culture !
I love to dance, to listen to music (and digging those sweet tunes that everybody will groove to), I love to rummage through old stuff at flea markets, I like to hike feel refreshed when surrounded by nature. I also like picking mushrooms (I promise nobody has gotten sick ... yet :) ) , playing chess, reading .. recently i have also took an interest in telling tales, it's kind of crazy how adults have stopped telling each other tales, why should only kids get all the wonder? ✨

I would say I am a pretty chill, joyful, open minded and sociable person, I am also attentive and respectful. If you like to talk about diverse subjects as feminism, philosophy, ecology, and economy I would love to discuss and learn more though these exchanges.

I will be travelling a bit with my current partner léo :) a sweet and kind italian who cooks delicious meals :)

Info for when I'm able to host :
I live with two chill and respectful guys in a house a little ex centered but close to transportation. We have a mezzanine bed in our living room (that can be closed as to offer some privacy) and because it's our personal space we have decided to only host once a month for 1 or 2 nights so I'm really sorry if I didn't reply. We have the cats of the landlord regularily coming inside so if you're allergic or not a cat lover this might not be the best place for you :) I expect you to show respect for our house by being clean, helping out if needed and having a desire to connect. this not a cheap hostel ;p If you agree that this platform is about sharing, please put somewhere in your message that sharing is caring as I'll know you took the time to read :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet and connect with locals and people from around the world :) I think it's so much more interesting and wonderful, there are so many stories to share. Also it's amazing to be able to travel in a budget friendly way, I don't know if I would even be able to travel and have all these experiences in the first place if not :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have managed to be surrounded by amazing friends, and I'm quite proud.
Also I have hiked though the Black Forest in Germany
And I have been lost in the jungle in Thailand .. while listening to édite Piaf "non je ne regrette rien"

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a few moves of contemporary dance, rock n' roll dance, Krav Maga, capoeira and karaté, would love to play chess, I can share some of my musical knowledge (like nice songs and stuff ahah). I can also teach a bit of French, sewing, I can make some good crepes, I'll also be a good listener :) I would like to learn more about ecology and permaculture, maybe learn a thing or two about how to play some instruments ?
