Hello all! I was born in Belgium, but moved to Zimbabwe at the age of 2 for my dad's work. Stayed there (in various cities) until the age of 12 when we moved to Maputo, Mozambique. After that I moved to the Netherlands for my tertiary education. I have ended up staying here longer than anticipated, and am now doing a double master's degree at WUR in Urban Environmental Management!

The concept of couchsurfing really fascinates me, and I love the idea of a huge community of people sharing life experiences, and making unexpected friends in the places I visit! It also opens up opportunities for traveling on a tight budget, which any student appreciates :)

I thoroughly enjoy a good conversation about social topics, and am particularly interested in aspects of alternative socioeconomic systems! I am well travelled and appreciate exposure to new and varied cultures (especially if it relates to food!). If my host would like, I could always bring some Dutch cookies (stroopwafel!!!!) along with me :)
