I have traveled throughout Europe, Asia, and have covered much of America.

The best adventure has been a long walking/train trip in Europe, including walking 1000 miles around Europe and the Camino Frances to Santiago di Compostela.

Coolest trip was the Marrakech express to . . . of course, Marrakech.
Looking forward to the next adventure. (Always!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently moved into a large enough space to host guests. It's great to host- engaging with travelers gives me more insight into the world and its peoples. I live in a beautiful part of the world ... a nice place to share.

I often stay in hostels but prefer Couchsurfing - and staying in hotels is isolating for a solo traveler.

Just started on couch surfing more seriously - I enjoy the possibility of meeting locals and fellow travelers as it's a much better way to learn about the cities and countries I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classical but appreciate all music. Voracious reader - usually historical fiction and "imagined" non-fiction.

Stories! Unending stories of Life 101 and its multitude of adventures. It seems as though I have lived many lives - all different from one another. I love to connect with others and learn about their lives and hear their stories.

I bring a love of life and an adventurous spirit…

I will prepare a meal or two, or invite you to your favorite restaurant.

I pack my own sleep sack and towel to create no laundry or extra work for my host.
