ABOUT ME
I love meeting people and sharing experiences and dreams. I have an open mind and am willing to learn every day. I consider myself lucky to have essentially grown up at the refugee shelter that both my parents worked at in Buffalo, NY. As a result, I’ve always been interested in and open to learning about other cultures. I love almost all forms of artistic creation, learning new languages, and spontaneity.
PHILOSOPHY
“Si usted es capaz de temblar de indignación cada vez que se comete una injusticia en el mundo, somos compañeros.”
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to take part in the initiative to break down barriers… to help out like-minded people, to make contacts and be a contact. Unfortunately, when I'm in Buffalo, I probably won’t be able to offer a couch (although it wouldn’t hurt to ask), but I’d be happy to show you around Buffalo and share the best places to get a coffee or famous Buffalo chicken wings! Yummm!!
I'll be in Weimar at least until July 2015, and here I am more than willing to host if I am not traveling myself!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I’m new here, but looking forward to some great experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Really anything and everything, but I really like: Calle 13, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, Joan Jett, U2, The Doors, MGMT, AFI, anything I can FEEL.
MOVIES: I fall in love with every movie I see. ItâÃâ¬Ãâ¢s a problem.
BOOKS: Anything that makes me wonder, but a few favorites are: East of Eden, Slaughterhouse-Five, The Stranger, Go Ask Alice, Wuthering Heights
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking into Gaudi's Sagrada Familia. Not only the first time, but every time. It is a completely overwhelming experience that I never get tired of.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll teach you to make papusas (the national dish of El Salvador), and would love to learn any new languages and to dance the Tango!
