ABOUT ME

i ve lived in boston, san francisco, belo horizonte, but i am happier when in caraiva. my little paradise, with all its misteries. i moved here more than 20 years ago, built a pousada with a few bungalows and a restaurant. i ve lived here since and ran the pousada/restaurant. there was no electricity until 2007, cars are still left on the other side of the river. i love the quiet months, when one can read, walk, think, enjoy the beach, the perfect temperatures and meet people but i also love the very busy months between december and february. I am now divorced, my kids live in italy, florianopolis and belo horizonte and i want to travel more often. share the pousada with couch surfers seems like a great idea, since we have months of not so many guests... i really appreciated the concept! ths way i ll be able to share this beautiful place with more people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

it happened three times...having a child is the most fantastic experience i can imagine! and being a parent a blessing and a challenge...

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach how to plan and build a vegetable garden ( i have just started one 4 months ago and it looks great! ) and i would love to learn how to cook some italian dishes!
