ABOUT ME

I'm a portuguese musician who's been travelling around and playing with a guitar. My trips are inspired by Che Guevara's "quest" or Kerouac's. In one word: freedom.

Also by people like Chomsky, Zinn, Ghandi, Afonso, Paredes or Sousa Mendes.

I like landscapes, mountains, history and rivers. I love the ocean.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not sure about that. I'm hyperactive and I keep changing my plans everyday.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just a member, so far. I like to host people and to be a guest.

If you decide to visit Lisbon, I can be a guide or I can provide some of the best spots for you to see what's really nice. I'm not always available but I'll try my best.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never used the website to ask for a couch. Usually I'm lucky enough to know friends where I want to go. Or friends of friends. I meet people in other networks and, because I'm a musician, I do some sort of "play for pay". It's been wonderful.

Definitely in love with Stanley Kubrick. Not yet sure about Polanski. Discovering Brazilian movies. In a strange relationship with Wes Anderson. Currently watching Gilmore Girls and Louie.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I played in a Brazilian Festival, recorded 5 albuns, started a music label, met my girlfriend, swam the mediterranian and the atlantic, traveled alone through europe, made friends "everywhere". I'm also a friend of cats. I've made some really happy.

Mostly I can be a guide for the historic city of Lisbon but I enjoy a lot Sintra and its surroundings. I could be a guitar teacher too, if you want, for a couple of days.

I've been learning chess too. I like a good match. Losing is as easy for me as riding a motorbike naked during winter. :P
