About Me

Born, grew up, studied (apart from 1 Erasmus year in France) & worked for 2 years in Belgium (Ghent), headed to New Zealand for 7 months and came back to this lovely city called Ghent.

Sept 2014 - After 2 years of working behind the computer, I decided to give my (work)life a twist, as I realised I wasn't doing what I love doing & took off to experience a 'sweet as' travel adventure in New Zealand.

I traveled for about 7 months throughout NZ to fully explore this beautiful country, did heaps of walks, met & became friends with other travelers & local wiki's, did about 5 weeks of Wwoofing & had some great CS-experiences myself.

I've been living in Hokitika (South Island) for about 2,5 months with Kieran & working part time in hospitality. We've been hosting people in February '15 which has giving us really nice, interesting & entertaining experiences. It felt like hosting couchsurfers from everywhere was like opening the door to the world.

I registered on couchsurfing when I was an erasmus student (in Montpellier, France).

So currently living in Ghent, working 3 days a week, studying for another education in orthopedagogics, meeting my friends in the evenings, doing a lot of sports: weekly swimming, running & badminton.

I love sports, laughing with jokes, making jokes, making crosswords, meeting interesting people, discovering the beauties of nature & other cultures.

I've traveled a lot in Europe, from time to time I visited friends abroad who I've met during my Erasmus year. Before going to NZ, I've been to a lot of neighbouring countries in Europe & a bit further: South Africa.
