CURRENT MISSION

We are a catalan couple: Laia (29) & Aleix (28). We live in Guadeloupe (before our trip), a little french island in the Caribbean Sea.

Our friends are waiting for us, because usually we are traveling around! It`s a joke, but is difficult to refill this question!

PHILOSOPHY

When we are traveling, we try to understand cultures and religions to improve our personal knowledge. Our personal philosophy is to still young and open minded!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We try to couch people in our house, but usually we are traveling (last to years). We did it in Guadeloupe, when we were living there and we hope we can do in the future in our own house (maybe in Spain?). We like to cook when we do couchsurfing as a guest (vegetarian and spanish cusine).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very good experiences as a guest, specially in Mexico last year, and very good experiences also in Guadeloupe with our own guests! We can`t do Couchsurfing in Spain, because we don`t have our own home there for the moment. We hope in the future...

兴趣

We like traveling, trekking, diving, taking pictures and share the experiences with others travelers and friends! Aleix likes the photograph (specially landscapes and travel photograph), is not a bad cooker (vegetarian dishes!) and he writes a blog about the net society and similar areas. Laia likes sports, diving, snorkeling, and trekking. She can`t stay in her home more than two days, because she always needs to travel around the world!

音乐、电影和书籍

Aleix loves reading Roberto Bolaño's books(chilean-mexican writter) and literature classics in his ebook! Laia likes the bestsellers, and usually she use the books as a pillow! :) We like reggae music (our BSO when we are traveling), and similar sounds, but we like all the good music! Aleix loves 80`and 90`s movies, because he still thinking as a kid.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sunrise in Tikal, the pyramid maya in Guatemala, was really amazing! The ancient runes in the middle of the jungle when the sun wakes up... We will never forget! Another amazing experience was the trek to Everest Base Camp, in Nepal. We did the trek during 20 days, without guide and porters. It was hard, but we saw the roof of the world from Gokyo Peak, and this is impossible to forget!
