About Me

Curious, dynamic, spontaneous, day dreamer, I love traveling and meeting new people. I lived abroad for ten years (in Sweden and France). After that I did a round the world trip alone for one year and I'm currently living and working as a digital nomad.

I can be shy and quiet or very open and talktive. I can stay calm or be active. I'm very dynamic and full of energy but I also like to sleep a lot. I enjoy dancing but also having a quiet dinner at home. It all depends, on my mood, on the situation, on the people around me. I'm flexible and can adapt to most situations.

My preferred way of visiting new places is by walk and public transport. I enjoy discovering the local gastronomy and I absolutely love sweets, specially chocolate and manjar/dulce de leche (kind of milk candy)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While living abroad, I hosted a lot of people: friends, people I met while traveling, even friends of friends I did not know. In the same way, I stayed with people I barely knew.

Thanks to this experience I had the opportunity to visit new places with a local, to discover the non-touristic spots, to learn more about the culture. I also enjoyed hosting people and let them know my city.

In 2014 I discovered and joined couchsurfing. It was by the time I left my life in France and started traveling alone. I had great experiences in Estonia, Malaysia, Chile, Argentina and Singapore, both as a guest and meeting up with locals. Being nomad is hard to host but I co-hosted a few times in Switzerland and Malaysia while sharing flat with CS friends.

Nowadays I spend a few months a year in Barcelona and some in Penang. Actually, Penang has become my second home thanks to the friends I met in couchsurfing! In Penang I love to meet up with locals and travelers in the weekly meet up and other punctual events, and I plan to be more active in Barcelona too.
