ABOUT ME

Well, I studied sociology. I love travelling and I have travelled a lot in my life, as well as and now. For the last three years, I lived Porto Alegre. I was developing an educational project in Assentamento do MTD (movimento dos trabalhadores desempregados), Belo Monte. I was working with kids in a school, giving them theatre lessons, developing a cooperative of children, spanish lessons, handycraft, music... I have always worked with kids and I love them. I´m very concerned of how important is education, so that´s why I try to open their mind and see the possibilities they have in their hands.
Before Brasil, I lived in Lisbon for two years, I went to Lisbon to do my scholarship in a Cooperative that promotes the Social Economy, and then started working there for two years. It was a very interesting work, I learned a lot and really loved that wonderful city.
Now I'm travelling for a few months through southamerica, enjoying everytime, everywhere!

PHILOSOPHY

I like to enjoy my life and to see the others enjoying to. I live my moment, my present and I´m not really worried for the future. I need to feel as I´m part of people and places where I´m, and I need to believe in what I do. I don´t like to depend on the others and also I don´t like that the others depend on me. I really love people and I feel that I´m growing always, mostly when I meet new people. Thoughts...I have so many thoughts...I try to become better every day, learning to accept each one as they are, and not to judge what they do. I really thing that my life is what I do with it, so I´m living every moment. I accept who I´m and I trust my capacity to follow my way and to reach a peace state of mind :)little by little.

I love music, a lot of different music but I just LOVE blues and jazz. I love Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Dave Brubeck, Duke Elligton, Lou Levy, Stan Getz, Chucho and Bebo Valdes, Avishai Cohen, Louis Armstrong, B.B King, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzerald, Robert Johnson, Cassandra Wilson, Billie Holiday... and I could continue and continue... I really really love music.
Movies...too. I´m not good remembering directors or films, but I love films too. I spend a lot of time watching films. And books...I love reading. By my point of view reading is such and interesting, important and great thing to do. Important authors in my life... Herman Hesse, Milan Kundera, Gioconda Beli, Almudena Grandes, Dostoevsky, Eduardo Galeano, Cortazar, Camus and a big etc! I believe that some books can change our life, our minds... I´m usually reading more than one book at the same time...

I work everyday a little, trying to be as simple as possible. Always learning...
