I'm a Medical Anthropology student in Edinburgh. I'm doing it slowly, over two years because why not! It's really fun and fascinating. I now have 8 months off from my studies during April- December 2018 and I am travelling and getting involved in other projects.

I love a party and and really value quiet times. I'm also a Shiatsu Practitioner and enjoy yoga, dance and being creative, especially drawing, painting and taking photos. I don't know where I'd be without music, although I don't play an instrument. Being outdoors is great, walking, wandering and a bit of cycling. I am currently very enthusiastic about outdoor swimming and have enjoyed my first winter swimming in Scottish sea. I hope to continue these watery adventures on my travels. I miss my hula hoop but it's a pain to pick in a backpack! In quieter times I like to read, watch films and cook. Most of all I am interested in people and am always up for leaning new stuff, food, words and ways! I think most people would call me pretty diverse.

Because it's great! I am a new user although I have hosted Couchsurfers in shared houses through housemates' profiles. I am now on a journey across Europe during May and June and enjoying learning and exchanging on stories on the way!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love all sorts of music. I listen to loads of afrobeat like Fela Kuti and desert blues. Recently I have been enjoying Bassekou Kouyate and also Omou Sangare. One of my favourite bands is Tinariwen, I really also like multi-genre experimental electronic music and really enjoy sounds like Flying Lotus and Daedelus. I am particularly excited about deep, ambient, melodic, soundscapey techno like Max Cooper, Christian Loffler and Rival Consoles. I also listen to lots of other stuff like hiphop and will always have a soft spot for garage. I am always excited to hear new music! I am currently reading 'The Alchemist' and also a book someone gave me in a train station. I also like films but not horror!

I 'm into cooking and gardening and would be so happy to help with these things. I am a Shiatsu Practitioner and most days I like to do some kind of body movement stuff as self care and for my health. Sometimes yoga, or qi-gong, tai-chi or do-in or my favourite stretches, it's different every day. It would be great if anyone wants to join me in this and I am happy to share what I know about acu-pressure points and related things. I'm also up for exchanging music tips!
