Overview
About Me
Hello there! My name is Laila, currently studying university in Monterrey (Mexico) but in an exchange program in South Korea. I'm super excited to know about more cultures and get to know new people. I'm a pretty friendly and open person, so don't be afraid to contact me. I live with my mom, my younger brother and our three gorgeous dogs (I'm a dog person 100%). I'm a double major, one of them being Innovation and Development Engineering and the other one Industrial Design.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I think that the idea of being able to share your house with someone that is in need of a roof opens the opportunity to make new friends with different ways of thinking and that could show you new ways of looking at certain things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a wide taste in music because I can like from classical to rock, from rap to jazz, etc. My favorite movies are Star Wars, LOTR, HP, and The Godfather. In books it's also a difficult question to answer because I have many favorite books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I basically got my whole exchange program by myself, it was totally sponsored and my mom didn't have to worry about anything. I got an internship in South Korea and an internship when I go back, and to be honest I'm really proud about this because I proved myself that I was capable of anything. Another amazing thing is that I saved my oldest dog from distemper when she was just one year old.
