About Me

I come from a big family ( 7 people ! ) and that has probably mostly shaped me into the person I am at the present. Currently am a third year university student on my way to become a translator / interpreter. I like having a good time with great company, seeing the people around me happy and having a good laugh. Have to admit, I am a person who likes to play things on the safe side, but does not mean I am not open for new things.

!
During school time I study and live in a different city, a 3 hour drive away from my home, and because of this am rarely home and might not be able to host. However, don't hesitate to write, I'm open to discussions :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly, a friend of mine always kept telling me how amazing this site was and how it offered many wonderful opportunities for adventures and new experiences, and since I love and would like to travel more, I thought, well, why not ?

Interests

Reading mostly anything I can get my hands on, listening to music, going to theater, watching movies, attending concerts, playing board games, spending time with my family and friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite foreign artists are: The Gazette, Plastic Tree, Dir en grey, TVXQ, Keane, The Killers, Florence & TM, the occasional Cure or Elvis or Keaton Henson; latvian artists: The Sound Poets, Brainstorm, Dzelzs Vilks, however, I am open for mostly anything.
Have to admit, I have a weak spot for Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre and other period dramas...And I absolutely love Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Hannibal, Pushing Daisies and other series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe the amazing things we do are the small, everyday things that simply make us happy and are done for ourselves and people we care about.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I can teach depends on what a person wants to learn and vice versa :)
What I want to share is an experience that can be remembered for a long time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

An experience that hopefully leaves both sides happy and satisfied :)
