ABOUT ME

I live in the country outside of Cork in Ireland! For all you fellow country folk, our farm is actually pretty small with just cows but it's a perfect place for learning to drive and mini adventures!
Currently, I live in Limerick, Ireland in a college house.
I live to keep active and am always keen to try new things! My ambition in life is to try as many different things as possible!! I want to be able to say that I've eaten snails, bungee jumped and really tested my boundaries!! As you can probably gather I love sports especially gaelic football and hockey and I also love art! :)
I'm an extremely talkative person(as you've probably gathered from how I keep rambling on here...sorry!!) and love experiencing new cultures, new people, new countries! There is so much of the world out there and so much to see, I'm excited to continue my explorations! :)

PHILOSOPHY

You're only young once, and there's a lot of the world to see and things to do, so it's best to start now! :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I'm currently travelling I don't have a couch to offer, however in September I return to college in Limerick, Ireland and I'm sure my housemates wouldn't mind an extra person for a night or two!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I havent couchsurfed much but when I have I've had great times in Lyon and Cannes!

Just after finishing reading Atonemment by Iwan McGregor, a brilliant read! I would mention 'a thousand splendid suns', the kite runner, and 'not without my daughter' as my favourite books of all time!!
As an author I've recently come to really appreciate Jodi Picolt, author of 'My sister's Keeper'! Her work is addictive!

I must also admit that I do have a slight addiction to the Harry Potter series also!!

My favourite movie of all time has to be 'shawshank redemption'! What a film!

Since coming to France I have been roped into watching french films and was 'Wow'd by 'Amelie', so much so that after seeing Audrey Tatou in action I had to watch the 'Coco Chanel' film too!

I also love the classical cartoon films such as the classics Pochantas, The little Mermaid, The Incredibles and most recently Dispicable me! Animations are my weak point!!

I volunteered in a school in Kolkata, India for 3 weeks! The school, the city, the experience in general was just incredible!

Um well, I can teach the Irish language(well I can try) and about Irish culture...I'll have you dancing the Riverdance in no time!! :P
I'm open to learn about almost anything! :)
