About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Back to scratch in Paris! Let's improve my English, discover new spots and meet great people!
ABOUT ME
I am a nomad. Born in California, raised in the French West Indies and in Paris, educated in southern France and in Quebec, Canada.
I love traveling, cycling, sailing, cooking, meeting great people, and... learning!
I love languages, music, and communication in all its aspects.
My motto: Try to be a good person every day :)
PHILOSOPHY
Why do tomorrow what you can do today?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to:
- Exchange with English-speaking mates with whom I can really improve my level in oral and written English, and share about our respective cultures (literature, arts, sports, politics, etc.)
I can also exchange with Spanish and Portuguese speakers who want to improve their French.
- Discover and share new spots to get away from tourist places and enjoy Paris at its best
- Welcome friends at home and guide travelers.
Without knowing about Couchsurfing, I always did it, either when I was in Toronto, Montreal or Paris.
- Meet people with whom I can practice my favorite activities (cycling, dancing, singing, swimming, yoga) and learn new things (samba de roda, forro, cooking, sailing, playing music, ...)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted many friends over the years, wherever I have lived. I like to help travelers, to show them around, and to share with them what I know and what I like about my city. I have welcomed friends and their friends (even sometimes strangers) when I lived in Paris, Montreal or Toronto.
I have slept on my friends'couches in London, Rome, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Mexico, Toronto or Budapest. I like to travel places, mostly when I get to see soem underground places, away from overly touristic places. I don't like shopping or very commercial activities in general, so don't expect me to show you these kind of things!
