About Me
**CURRENTLY CANT HOST**
Hi, I'm Lakisha. I'm 18 years old and grew up in the West Midlands, in the UK. I've just finished my A levels, and I'm starting Open University next year, and I'm currently traveling Australia! My plans are to keep travelling while I study, and slowly make my way around the world until I end up home.
I'm social and I love to kick back and have drinks with friends, I love to go out and dance and I love exploring and seeing new things. But I also like just kicking back and spending a night in, watching a film or reading a book and eating some good food.
I'm a vegetarian and an animal lover. I will cry whenever someone puts Spirit or Brother Bear on. I'm easy going and friendly, it takes a lot for me not to like somebody. That's all I can really think to say haha.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm traveling the world and I want to meet new people and find people that want to have some great experiences together and build good friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music, anything that I listen too and can vibe too. That generally tends to fall into the categories of dub, ska, reggae, jungle, jazz, bassline, grime, drum and bass (particularly rolling drum and bass), hip hop and electro swing but also includes R and B, rock and roll, country (Dolly Parton is my queen), soul and anything that sounds good, man.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm still really young and I've only just started travelling so I can't think of anything travel related that I've done. My life has mostly just been festivals and college up until now. I did help someone who has a serious head injury, though, a few weeks before leaving the UK. But that was just pure fluke that I happened to be there. I was walking to work and there was a serious car crash, one of the cars spun into a lampost and brought it down onto some pedestrians head (who was maybe 10 metres from me). Luckily, I'd got my First Aid license the year before, and I'd managed to stop most of the bleeding and keep the guy talking until the ambulance got there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn everything and anything! Anything you know that I don't know, teach me!! Share with me your culture, your language, what you love and hate, I'll be so interested, trust me.
I can help teach people English to the best of my ability. I have an A in it at GCSE's and A level. I can share what knowledge I've got through the world through research and learning at school (I took a lot of humanities and social scienes, as the world is such an interesting thing to me).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything I have, which isn't a lot. I can make lots of tea, I can cook and share food, I can share my company and my brain and my personality, and I hope that in return, so can they.
