Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I was studying in France, I took a few trips and decided to try out couchsurfing because I thought it would be a better way to get to know the places I was visiting. I stayed with a lovely host in London and Brussels. We went out together and really enjoyed hanging out with a local.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most recent thing that I've done was visiting an elephant reserve park in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
These animals are so mistreated in the tourism industry that I knew I had to contribute to their well being in some way. So I visited a park that rescues elephants used in trekking and shows.
I spent a whole day feeding them, bathing them and taking care of them. These animals are amazingly smart, and loving. It was one of my favourite days.
