ABOUT ME

Hey, my name is Lana. I'm blonde, and yeah, I'm known for having 'blonde moments'quite often! Am an open minded person, love to try new things and experience everything that life has to offer. I've fully got the travel bug at the mo - I want to go everywhere! Love travelling, love a challenge, and most importantly, I love to have a good laugh!

Saying I love to dance will be a bit of an understatement. When ever I hear music, I cant help but move! I love to party, and dont get the wrong idea about me being a ballet dancer - I aint no precious ballerina doll! I love to eat, drink, and have fun!

I love camping, road trips and anything to do with the outdoors. nothing beats crusing along the road in the middle of nowhere singing your heart out to the steering wheel and having a good laugh with your mates!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing/hosting and recently organised my first event - Hide and Seek in Utrecht IKEA. It was epic!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Love couchsurfing! Started in 2008, heard about it through a friend. Now using it every chance I can. Met amazing people and had crazy but fun experiences in Madrid, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Brussels, Antwerpen, Prague, New York, Berlin, Schwerin, Hamburg, Dessau, Bremerhaven and even Spijkenesse! Its fully the way to travel and I highly recommend it to other open minded travelers!

Apart from travelling and dancing I enjoy colouring in & writing - about anything and everything. life ambitions, inspirational words, day to day happenings and ponderings, and even the off joking poem. Helps kill the time when taking regular long train trips, and u'll be suprised at what can actually come out of your thoughts and on to paper!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I travelled to Kurashiki, Japan when i was 16 to dance the lead role in a big sister city festival of the arts. was an amazing experience, one that ill treasure for a long time i think! i have also danced onstage infront of 120,000 people at an outdoor concert in Christchurch. theres something about being on stage thats addictive, cant explain it, but all the hard work and crazy stuff you go through in rehearsals before the show is paid back 100 fold when you get under the lights and infront of an audience, no matter how big or small! Even if its dancing for the elderly people in a home, its still pretty cool how you can touch other peoples hearts without speaking anywords.
