ABOUT ME

I am just finishing up a two year position at Positive Directions as a Medical Case Manager for low-income HIV+ clients.

I am a busy musician and preparing to go back for another master's degree in the fall. The folks I hang with are generally artists, musicians, teachers, social workers, and entrepreneurs. I will gladly introduce you and show you around our cool town.

When you stay with me, be prepared for possible spontaneous music jams and company.

I belong to a progressive United Methodist Church, where we feel there is wisdom in all faith traditions and truly love and welcome everyone. (We're just a bunch of hippies, really). My church is where folks go who have been burned by church and traditional religious ideologies.

I have a 13 year old son who lives with me and a 21 year old engineering student (on his way to the army) who visits regularly. They happen to be perfect, which is pretty cool.

I love to meet new people. I dig hosting folks and showing them around Wichita. And I love to travel, so meeting new people while doing so is exciting.

Música, películas y libros

I have really diverse musical interests. They include all types of jazz and blues, jam bands, soul, funk, rap, classic country, bluegrass.....and on and on.

I can't usually sit still for movies, but my favorites are either sci-fi/fantasy or music documentaries.

I don't sit still to read much either. I'm on the last book of Game of Thrones. It's taken me two years, I think. I like books about spirituality and growth as well as fantasy. And I love poetry.

I was the first person to graduate high school in my family. I now have a master's degree and am going back to earn another one in the fall.
