I don't want to be fancy with my bio. I am a simple guy who lived with my husband. I work as medical doctor in Guatemala City, and I love so much about the history, the cultural places, and meet with people of all around the globe. Thats an effective way to find friends and listen to the stories of each one can tell. And I have a good story to tell about me, about this city and this country that may be isn't the best but it's one specially. That anybody must know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want principal two things. I want to offer an enjoyable experience not only of the room, think i can offer a good option not only about the place. Most about the experience and the recommendations that can i bring. I know a lot about the history, the most visited places and i will be a pleasure to share that.
And the other, is maybe when I travel, i can enjoy of the same way that i want to share.

I love music. Even i play the clarinet, so i know a little of classic music, and also i know some traditional music of Guatemala. I also listen to music in English and Spanish (and a little in France). I love Beyonce, Shakira, Bad Bunny, y los tradicionales latinos como Juan Gabriel, Selena.

Teach, Learn, Share

Actually, I teach at the national university of Guatemala: "Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala", I love to teach, and all that involve.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share the knowledge of my city. But can U see, I am a medical doctor. If the time allows and there be a moment, I can show this beautiful city (and i know some of the best places of this city, not only the same places that everyone goes like Cayala or the historic center). There are so many places in this city.
I can share part of my life, my house, and adventures.
Take advice that this city isn't Antigua. Antigua is a little far, about 25 miles (55 km) of Guatemala City. If I can, and if I had the time, maybe i could drive to show you Antigua, but for the long trip I can't promise everyone that i will do it.

Another important thing, is that I can NOT provide you with any type of letter or any documentation for embassys or any migratory documentation.

Yo puedo compartir el conocimiento de mi ciudad. Toma en cuenta que por mi profesión a veces no pueda compartir siempre. Pero si puedo, con gusto podré mostrar las partes turísticas de esta ciudad, los lugares que más me gustan desde el histórico centro, la popular Cayala, museos y otras atracciones.

Ten en cuenta que mi casa está en la Ciudad de Guatemala, no es la Antigua Guatemala, si bien es una ciudad próxima, está a aproximadamente 55 Kms de la Ciudad de Guatemala.

Otra cosa importante es que NO puedo proporcionar ningún tipo de carta o documentación migratoria para usos de embajadas y otros trámites migratorios.
