PAY ATTENTION!

The place where I can host IS NOT located in Puerto Escondido.

My sisters and I inherited the house of my family located in Cuixtla, between 1.5 h (using private transportation) and 3 h (with public one) away from Puerto. I am the only one using the space.

The name of the house is casa webo and it is my professional project that consists on a social laboratory where I usually host artists- artisans, academics and activists doing community work in order to introduce them my own programme of intervention called "the nutrition education programe of the Oaxacan coast".

I stayed away from couchsourfing for many years because I was healing from my hospitality traumas. I was shocked when I first discovered in France at the age of 20 that the hospitality in which I grew up in my birthplace was not the same abroad. It was then the first time that food and shelter was denied to me.

Other similar bitter experiences also happended to me mostly in the global north.

That is one of the reasons why I decided to use casa webo to host people for free as a way to share part of my life and my projects.

As You can imagine, casa webo is not for everyone. In the sense that only certain type of people would be able to appreciate / understand how special casa webo is.
