ABOUT ME

I never want to stop having adventures. I like to explore, create, observe and communicate. I like people and traveling, maybe, more than anything (why I joined this site...) I have been traveling since I was a small child and the love of it has never ceased. I love to hear other people's idea and philosophies about life, travel etc.

I am from Texas, but finished university last December and have been living and working in Vicenza, Italy since January. I'm heading back to The States in October, but will be doing some traveling before I leave.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been to a few events (happy hours, festivals, sports games) with CSers where I live, and have surfed in Verona, Brussels and Madrid, met up for food and drinks in Greece and met my very best friend in Italy at an event in Vicenza.

Music: love it all, but depends on my mood.

My all time favorite movies are Forrest Gump and The Godfather series.

I really enjoy reading memoirs and biographies for nonfiction, and mysteries for fiction.

Was/ Am a positive role model and mentor to hundreds of teenage girls through my work at a summer camp and the high school senior camper program I work with and developed.

Greek Theatre in Taormina, Sicily had one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen!

I know a lot about social theory through pure interest and through studies, but am always interested in learning other people's points of view.

I like to think I am really good at reading most people, trusting my instincts, and being honest.

I would like to be better at reaching out to others and asking for help when I need it.
