ABOUT ME

At the moment I'm just happy! In August 2012 my biggest dream came true: I moved to Finland. It's not Helsinki yet, but living in Mikkeli is a good start. Although the town is pretty small (30.000 inhabitants) and there isn't really much to see (except loads of water and forest...), the people are amazing and you always have a lot of fun.

I love listening to music (all kinds of, but I'd say 90% Rock since the 70's) and going to gigs. Other then that I'm interested in basically everything :)

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy.... might seem corny to some but it totally works for me: be aware of every second and enjoy it.

I mean - let's face it. How lucky are you to be alive? I wake up every single morning and I'm thankful for my life with its ups and downs. You like some things more, some things less.
'Monday - gotta go to work...' yeah... life can be hard. But if you are aware of every situation and yourself, you'll end up being happy and even-tempered. Enjoy your life as it is. If you don't like something, change it or learn to respect and live with it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The amazing Gamz M. introduced me to CS in December 2011. We planned a trip to Helsinki in January 2012 and were looking for a host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

More than positive! I met the greatest people through CS and consider some of them as good friends. <3

CS means to me: getting to know very open and fun people, having amazing conversations and memories and of course discovering cities in a better way (than being a 'normal' tourist staying at a hotel).

music: HIM, Type O Negative, Rammstein, Negative, 4LYN, other Finnish bands like Poisonblack, Turisas or Flinch, old stuff like Foreigner, Boston, Deep Purple and Pink Floyd, German Reggae like Seeed and Gentleman, Eminem ... and chartmusic
books: I really enjoy reading books like 'Confessions of a shopaholic' but also horror and scifi.
