The basics: born and raised in Pittsburgh, living in brooklyn now. I work at an art magazine in NYC. I go to a lot of art shows, enjoy concerts, trying new restaurants and I try to travel as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately at the time I don't really have space to actually host someone, but for now I see this as a way to meet travelers. I have lots of great friends, but it's always good to mix things up with new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've only couchsurfed once, in Anchorage. It was a pretty interesting experience, so I decided to join myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like mostly funny movies and foreign movies. Really I'll see anything. Music, so so much... Stars, Cat Power, Neko Case, My Morning Jacket, the New Pornographers, the Rosebuds, Rilo Kiley, the Duhks, Vampire Weekend, Sleater Kinney, Spoon, Neil Young, Hem... I like anything by Alice Munro. I'm reading the Wind-Up Bird Chronicle now and it's great so far. I don't read as much as I should because I read so much at work.
